TheatreWorks Florida is now accepting submissions for a SOUND TECH/BOARD OP for ROCK OF AGES.
REQUIRED: REQUIRED: 3+ years of working with all sound needs in musical theatre format; extreme passion for 1980's "hair band" rock & roll; ability to interpret a script for sound needs; ability to live mix a 5-piece rock and roll band with 14 live actors; exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; computer software skills; production report skills.
PREFERRED: Tour experience and advanced knowledge of sound equipment installation.
SALARY: Independent Contractor Salary (fee discussed at time of offer). Housing and per diem not available at this time.
DATES: Commitment begins IMMEDIATELY. Rehearsals begin top of AUG. Show opens SEPT 28 - OCT 9, 2016 at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts - Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater.
